Aberdeen-based information systems specialists, Collabro Limited, has appointed Greig Duncan as marketing and communications manager to help boost global sales at the firm.

Previously with a global public relations agency, Duncan has extensive experience of marketing within a range of oil and gas service companies throughout Europe. Prior to this he also spent significant time working for global health and safety training provider, Falck Nutec, and occupational health experts, Abermed Limited (International SOS).

Commenting on his appointment, Greig said: “I am very happy to join Collabro at this time and looking forward to the challenges we have set for the remainder of 2013. The company is looking to expand their global reach and stretch their products into the key hubs of a number of global industries – this was a key attraction to the role. With a number of new products on the horizon, this presents a massive opportunity to add value to Collabro’s current and prospective offerings in the marketplace.”

Martin Slowey, international business development manager, added that: “With the on-going development of Legare, our Primavera project management integration tool, we are looking to keep the ball rolling and maintain our projected growth. It has been an extremely positive start to the year already and we are continuing to build partnerships with our global partners.

Greig’s experience and knowledge of strategic marketing will support our future growth plans and sales strategy. Having already secured reseller agreements for Legare across four continents, this latest appointment demonstrates our intent to continue building our brand’s visibility – both in the UK and overseas.”
