PTTEP Australasia selects Legare from Fortior Global and Collabro

PTTEP AA, a petroleum exploration and production company, has selected Legare from Fortior Global and Collabro to provide a powerful and flexible Oracle Primavera Integration tool for its maintenance business.

The new Legare system will serve as a fast and simple link between Primavera and existing / future, enterprise asset management systems. It will facilitate the exchange of data within the planning and maintenance environments. Legare lets PTTEP AA extract data from its existing IBM Maximo Asset Management System, update information as needed in Primavera P6 and reintegrate the data for planning purposes.

Initially, the system will be highly beneficial in supporting time and cost savings within the maintenance planning team, but an extended scope for a fully integrated planning and asset management solution is well within reach now.

Ian Brunette, ICT Manager, PTTEP AA, said: “Legare offers a great synergy between our asset management system and our existing Primavera P6 software. Fortior Global was chosen over its competition (Pipeline).  With their local presence in Perth and partnership with Collabro, they were able to offer a solution that meets the needs of PTTEP AA at the right price point."

Wayne Wilson, Chief Technology Officer at Fortior Global said: “This project will see us working with PTTEP AA over the long term. The solution we have put in place will meet its goals on a continuing basis. The flexibility of the Legare solution means it can handle changes to internal systems and processes that may happen later on. The Fortior Global team in Perth are able to offer direct support to make sure it will keep running smoothly.”

PTTEP AA began this process at the start of July and is now successfully in production.
